If you are interested in one or other of these groups please contact Group Liaison.
B&D u3a's Charity of the Year (2025/26).
Every year we elect a "Charity of the Year" and the Tea / Coffee & Cake money from our quarterly meetings is donated to the year's worthy cause.
This year (2025 / 2026 season) we are collecting for DAG (Disability Action Group). A local charity, DAG's objective is to provide equipment, including electric scooters, powerchairs and wheelchairs for hire on a short/long-term basis to people in immediate need.
Further information about this charity is available on their website - https://dt11dag.org.uk/
As always, our thanks to the valiant team who make and serve the coffees, teas and cakes at each quarterly meeting.
