Alban O'Brien

Thomas Hardy - and Blandford Forum

A retired English teacher, leader of many literary holidays, including Hardy tours, and volunteer at Hardy’s Cottage. Although originally from the North West, Alban has lived in Puddletown since 2017. He is a lifelong student of literature with an MA in Shakespeare and Theatre from the Shakespeare Institute and an active member of the Thomas Hardy Society. He has been a member of Blandford U3A since he arrived in Dorset and has enjoyed many walks with its members.
